Hengpei Liao received the M.S. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. He has been engaging in superconducting devices and numerical calculation since 2016. Currently, he is working in Weijia Yuan's Lab (Applied Superconductivity Lab), Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (EEE), University of Strathclyde as a Ph.D. student. His current research interests include superconducting machines for electric aircrafts and superconducting magnet fabrication for high trapped field.
