Attend EFATS 2023 in Bristol

The applied superconductivity laboratory has attended the EFATS 2023 conference in Bristol, which is focusing on emission free aircraft through superconductivity. Professor Weijia Yuan gave a talk on the development of a 200kW cryogenic invertor at Strathclyde, which is a project in collaboration with Airbus aiming to develop a hydrogen propulsion powertrain for zero emission aircraft. Three other group members Zhishu Qiu, Calvin C. T. Chow, Muhammad Iftikhar also attended the conference.
