Fred Eastham is now an emeritus professor in the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering at the University of Bath after being Head of Department, Dean and Pro-Vice-Chancellor there. He is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society of Edinburgh. He is a consultant to a number of manufacturing companies.
